and I don't believe that since it's from a legit source. I'm just writing all that to explain why I'm so paranoid. and my computer also has fan detectors that detect if the fans are operating correctly. I sure my computer has 3 fans, auto lift vents and liquid cooling now and I probabaly don't have to worry about it over heating ever. but I don't take even false negatives lightly. and it completely destroyed the computer by making it over heat making the fan over runitself and destroyed the fan and actually made the computer over heat and destroy itself. I've had a computer get a rootkit virus once. but I feed them my money because I prefer computers over consoles and Desura doesn't have a lot of my flavor. so I think it's foolish to believe that just because the program came from steam, that it doesn't have a virus. like once malwarebytes found a virus in a legit winamp plugin from the winamp site. don't but in many cases the problems that they find are actually reall issues. Night Cat thanks for being awesome, I know that no antivirus is flawless I use 3 and all 3 seem to find problems with programs that the others. I think it's alot more dangerous to have an antivir and belive everything it says and think you are save, than having none, and having an healthy level of paranoia ZoneAlarm can be configured very well and is not so hyper sensitive, for instance it doesnt moan about things unless you try to execute them, and is a lot more tolerant in general, also, you can see every programm that ever tryed to access the internet, and put a check so that you see and have to give access to a programm whenever it requests an "new" internet connection for the first time (in my list there are only ~30 progamms i allowed access and about 200 which i didnt, you wouldnt belive how many programms use internet connection and you wonder what they need it for, it would be way easier to use one of these programms for sniffing than a dedicated virus Kaspersky is what most of my friends use but i never looked at it closer so i cant say much about it McAfee,Norton and Windows Defender are just patheticĪvira is kinda anoying for me personal, but i asume it works mostly To me anyway, there's no such thing as too safe. Malwarebytes Premium will initiate a scan for Trojans and then remove Trojans so they can’t cause further damage.Messaggio originale di Night Cat:Whatever works for you but don't make people who are security aware, or at least try to be, feel stupid about it. The best way to clean up a Trojan infection is to use Malwarebytes’ free trojan scanner, and then consider Malwarebytes Premium for proactive protection against future Trojan infections. Any other social engineering scheme that disguises itself by taking advantage of the latest trends like the COVID-19 crisis.Visiting shady websites such as a site that pretends to stream a popular movie but only if you download a certain video codec which is really a Trojan.Downloading infected applications or unknown free programs. Here are some common ways Trojan software spreads on your device: ![]() However, they can’t infect your device on their own-it takes user interaction to spread them such as opening a malicious email attachment or unintentionally downloading and running a fake file. Trojans can infect your computer in any number of ways: they can look like free software and music to browser ads to seemingly legitimate apps.
